Nash Everywhere Digital Academy (NEDA)

Now accepting applications for high school Spring Semester and Elem-Middle 2024-25 School Year!  Please read the information on this page and the Frequently Asked Questions page linked at the right before completing the application.

Completing the application DOES NOT GUARANTEE enrollment in NEDA.  We will give the current NEDA students the first opportunity to continue in the program, so spaces will be limited.  We will use the criteria listed below to determine eligibility for NEDA.  The criteria is as follows:

  • Attendance and Grade Performance during the previous school year.  Students applying in grades 3-12 must pass at least 3 out of 4 core classes (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies).

  • EOC/EOG, and K-3 Diagnostic scores will be reviewed for applying students.

  • Students must have met the attendance requirements as set forth in the NCPS Promotion and Retention standards.  Click here to review those requirements

  • Principal recommendation

  • Parental Consent for students who apply

After reviewing all applicants by the criteria listed above, we will contact the families of the students who are being invited to be in the Nash Everywhere Digital Academy.

For the 2023-2024 school year, high school students will be enrolled in NEDA in PowerSchool instead of their home high school as has been the case in previous year.  The students would have opportunity to play sports in the school district they live in like the students who are at the Early College High School and CITI High School.  Seniors would graduate as NEDA Navigators.

Students accepted to NEDA are agreeing to a one year commitment for grades 4-8 and for at least one semester for grades 9-12.
