Ms. Malissa Lyons has been named Nash Everywhere Digital Academy's Teacher of the Year for the 2024-2025 school year.
Ms. Lyons has been teaching for 23 years. She has taught a variety of subjects and grade levels throughout her career. Currently, she teaches 7th and 8th grade Science and High School Biology at NEDA.
In addition to her teaching duties, Ms. Lyons has attended NASA's Educator's Space Camp, serves as a teacher advisor for Scholastic Science World Magazine and participated in Stemworks with other Nash County personnel.
