Good evening, There will be an Advanced Placement Course Information Night on Wednesday, May 8th at 5:30 in the Media Center at Northern Nash High School. This will be open to any interested Rising 9th Graders and their families.

Due to weather and field conditions, our Championship Softball game vs Nash Central has been moved to Wednesday 5/8 at 4:30. We will play at Red Oak. Thank you!

Good evening Red Oak Family! Here are a few announcements. This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you to the best staff in the system! Monday softball will host Nash Central for the Tri-County Championship at 4pm. Tuesday is our athletic banquet at 6pm. Thursday is our Spring Band Concert at 6pm. Thank you to our PTO and all staff that helped to plan and execute the May Ball. It was a huge success and we hope everyone had a great time.

The May Ball is tonight from 6pm-8pm. The dismissal process will look like our Car Rider dismissal. All 8th Graders and siblings will be picked up outside the gym. All 7th Graders will be picked up at the Bus Parking Lot. 6th Graders will be picked up in the front circle. Gym pick up will enter off Red Oak Battleboro Road through the yellow gate. Front circle pick up will use the main entrance. Bus lot pick up will enter the Bus Lot.

Our Softball team will host a playoff game tomorrow vs. Springfield. Game time is 4:30pm. Please come out and support our team!

A reminder that tomorrow is an Early Release Day for Nash County Public Schools. Red Oak Middle School will dismiss at 1:30pm. We will also host a play-in game for baseball tomorrow at 4pm. Winner advances.

Good morning! Red Oak Middle School conducted its third and final lockdown drill of the school year today. This drill is part of our required safety practices and everyone executed their roles perfectly. Again, Red Oak Middle conducted a practice lockdown drill today. Thank you and have a great day.

Good evening Red Oak Family! Here are some announcements for the upcoming week: In Athletics: Baseball and Softball play @ Parker on Monday. Soccer plays Parker at Home on Monday. Cross Country hosts the Tri-County Meet on Tuesday. Our May Ball/Spring Dance will be held on Friday May 3rd from 6pm-8pm. Our Athletic Banquet will be May 7th. Our Band Concert will be May 9th. Please pay all outstanding lunch fees as soon as possible. Have an excellent week!

The Red Oak May Ball is for Red Oak Students only! No outside students will be allowed to attend. Tickets will be sold today and tomorrow and will not be sold at the door. Our May Ball is Friday May 3rd.

The May Ball is a Semi-formal/Formal event. No jeans, shorts, t-shirts. Dresses should be finger-tip length or longer. Sports coats, suits, dress shirts, and dress pants are appropriate.
