Eagle Families! Due to the transition from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus, class schedules will be printed this year and available for pick-up. 9th-graders and newly enrolled 10th-graders will pick up schedules during Summer Bridge on August 7th. All other scholars will be able to pick up schedules from our Main Office on August 8th between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please get in touch with our office if you have questions or concerns regarding class schedules. Bus requests should be submitted by August 4th for any scholar who wishes to ride the bus this year. This also applies to scholars who rode the bus last year. The bus requests link is found on our school website and is available in both English and Spanish.

Eagle Families, Please complete the NCPS Transportation request form which you can find in our News Section. The form must be completed to secure your scholar's place on a school bus for the 2024-2025 school year. The link can also be found on the NCPS website . Scholars riding a bus are asked to be at their assigned bus stop 10-15 minutes before their stop time. The links provided are in English and Spanish. The deadline to complete the form is Friday, August 4th.

Please be advised of the new operating hours for CITI High School and Nash-Rocky Mount Early College High School for the 2024-2025 school year. This change is due to CITI High's relocation to the Nash Community College campus and the resulting adjustments to our transportation schedule. The new school hours will be as follows: Monday - Thursday: 9:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Friday: 9:15 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. These revised hours will allow us to better accommodate the needs of our students and staff, ensuring a smooth transition to the new campus and improving overall efficiency. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement these changes. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact CITI High or Nash-Rocky Mount Early College High.

Good evening, Eagle Families! This is Principal McGeachy with the last weekly call for the 2023-24 school year! Before I get the announcements, I want to thank all Eagle Families for your involvement and support, which has contributed to another successful year at ECHS. I will continue to provide updates on our school website throughout the summer. Have a safe and relaxing summer! The ECHS Class of 2024 will participate in commencement on Tuesday, May 21st, at 2:00 p.m. This is a ticketed event and will be held in the Brown Auditorium on the campus of Nash Community College. The event will also be available via a livestream link located on the Nash County Public Schools website. 91 scholars will walk across the stage this year, making this the largest graduating class in the history of ECHS. Scholars identified for participation in the Summer Opportunity for EOC tests must be at the school by 9:00 a.m. on their assigned testing date. Math I and Math 3 will be offered on May 22nd, and Biology and English II will be provided on May 23rd. Families will be notified when final grades and report cards are posted in PowerSchool. And now Savanna Wells, Class of 2024, will provide her popular joke of the week. She will be followed by a farewell message from a few of her fellow graduates.

May 15th Announcements: Scholars, please remember to have your parents sign the Model Release Form so that your photos can be used on our school’s website, social media platforms, yearbook, and much more! If you need a paper copy of the form, see Mrs. Copeland in the front office. The Model Release form can be found on the school’s website. Ask your AVID teacher for assistance! This week is TESTING please remember to be quiet!! EOC testing usually lasts up until 2:30 p.m. Therefore, to minimize distractions to the testing environment, early checkouts for scholars will not begin until 2:30. Parents may email Mrs. Copeland one day in advance to coordinate early checkouts for their scholars. GOOD LUCK TO ALL SCHOLARS!! Please remember that you have to take out your items before coming into the school building for a security check. All lunches from the grill must be pre-ordered. If you are late to class due to picking up lunch from the grill you will be asked to receive a tardy. Make sure to check your Nash NCC emails and high school emails at least twice a day and provide a reply to respondents. Please do not eat food in the maker space. Today is the last day to return College Textbooks please see Mrs. Jenkins. Our End of the Year Celebration will be May 17th on the front lawn from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. This event is for ECHS students only. Please bring a towel, bottled water, and money for the food trucks. Students, please remember to turn in your liability form to be able to participate in the inflatables at the end of year celebration. Today is the last day to turn in these forms.
