Good Afternoon Parents, Due to increasing concerns regarding discipline on school buses, we will periodically review bus camera footage to monitor student behavior. It is essential that all students adhere to NCPS bus rules to ensure a safe and respectful environment. The rules include: No eating or drinking on the bus. Students must remain seated while the bus is in motion. Students should stay out of the aisle unless entering or exiting the bus. Hands and feet must be kept to themselves at all times. Students must treat themselves, their peers, and the driver with respect. Disrespect toward the bus driver will not be tolerated. If you have concerns related to the bus, please contact the Assistant Principal. Any discipline issues on the bus will result in consequences being issued to the student. Parents, we kindly ask that you discuss these expectations with your child(ren) to ensure compliance with NCPS bus procedures. Repeated violations may result in severe consequences, up to and including the loss of bus privileges. Thank you for your support and cooperation in maintaining a safe and respectful bus environment. This is a reminder that bus times are subject to change due to ongoing route updates and students not riding the bus. For this reason, it is important to be at the bus stop at least 20 minutes before and after your scheduled time. Sincerely, Alicia Turner Assistant Principal
