Students must be present to receive their report card. Any report cards not picked up will be mailed home Friday afternoon.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We wanted to let you know that there was a statewide issue with the North Carolina testing system this morning, which affected Benvenue Elementary. Because of this, we were not able to complete the ELA End-of-Grade (EOG) test as planned.
We have rescheduled the ELA test for Friday, May 30 for our 3rd-5th grade regular setting students. Math testing is still scheduled for May 29th (tomorrow) for all of our 5th grade and 3rd and 4th regular setting students.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this unexpected situation. Please help your child be ready by getting a good night’s sleep and arriving at school on time.

Today is School Principals' Day! We would like thank Mrs. Tedford for her leadership and all that she does for the staff, students, and families at Benvenue. She is truly a GREAT principal! Happy Principals' Day Mrs. Tedford!
The Spring BES Book Fair will open on Monday. Students can visit the book fair each morning from 7:20 to 8:00 and each afternoon from 2:00 to 2:45. They can also visit during Library time. The BES Parents' Bookfair night will be April 29th from 4 to 7 p.m. Come out and support the BES Library! All proceeds will be used to purchase new books for the library.
